I love wedding days. I didn’t know if I did before this wedding, but after this wedding… I know. They are magical. I must start this blog post by just giving a shout out to the amazing Kali with Kali Lu Photo. She is my photography idol. She did my engagement pictures before I knew I wanted to be a photographer, and I have silently been wanting to be like her since. It was an absolute honor to shoot beside her for this wedding. I loved every minute.  

Seattle doesn’t have many hot days. In fact, the likelihood of rain at one point or another on a May day is usually pretty high. However, that day the sun was shining! It was gorgeous. When I think about this wedding a sunny, summer day comes to mind. 

Although let’s be real, I was nervous beyond reason. This was my first second shooting experience, and it was with my idol. I think I changed my outfit 3 times before coming, and ended up calling my sister for help. Thankfully, Kali embraced the newbie that was me and made it a wonderful day. By the end of this day, I had a newfound confidence in myself and my photography skills. 

Lexi and Jacob were the perfect couple with the perfect wedding. It couldn’t have gone much smoother. I could literally feel the love the entire time I was there. Congrats you two!
